Commercial Solar
Solutions for businesses, apartment communities, restaurants, hotels and warehouses on the Costa Blanca North.
Solar energy for your business
Businesses on the Costa Blanca North have high electricity consumption, especially in high season: air conditioning, refrigeration units, kitchens, lighting, machinery. Solar energy can cut your commercial electricity bill by between 50% and 80%, with a faster return on investment than residential installations.
We’ve completed installations for restaurants, hotels, industrial warehouses, clinics, offices and apartment communities.
Apartment communities (comunidades de vecinos)
Spanish shared self-consumption regulations allow an apartment community to install solar panels on the building’s roof and share the energy among the owners. Each resident sees the saving reflected on their individual electricity bill.
We handle everything: the technical study, the energy distribution design, the installation, the legalisation and the dealings with the distribution company. All we need is an agreement from the owners’ meeting.
Tax benefits for businesses
Businesses and self-employed professionals can take advantage of additional tax benefits in Spain:
- Accelerated depreciation: The solar installation can be amortised in a reduced timeframe for tax purposes.
- VAT deductible: The VAT on the installation is deductible as an investment expense.
- IBI tax discount: Just like homes, commercial premises benefit from the IBI tax discount.
- Corporate Tax deduction
Process for businesses
The process is similar to residential but adapted to business needs:
- Analysis of electricity bills and the business’s consumption pattern
- Site visit to the available roof or land
- System design optimised for your operating hours
- Commercial proposal with ROI calculation
- Installation planned to minimise disruption to your activity
- Legalisation and management of tax benefits
